ROOKIES YOU MUST DRAFT FOR FANTASY

Josh Jacobs, RB, OAK

Josh Jacobs was drafted 24th overall out of Alabama to the Oakland Raiders. There have been 11 running backs drafted in the first round since 2012. 7 of those RBs went on to finish their rookie season as top-10 fantasy running backs. Jacobs looks poised to get a ton of touches as his competition is Doug Martin and Jalen Richard. He could possibly eclipse the 300 touch mark this season under the Gruden offense.

Kyler Murray, QB, ARI

No surprise here. The No. 1 overall pick fell right into the perfect situation for him to become a fantasy monster. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury loves to use the air raid offense which bodes well for Murray’s upside as a QB. He also has a stacked receiving group with names like Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Crabtree, Christian Kirk, Keesean Johnson, and others. Murray also adds value with his running ability. Murray rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns last year with the Sooners, so you can expect him to be a top-5 rushing QB at the very least.

Miles Sanders, RB, PHI

Sanders has recently started to become everyones’ favorite rookie RB. He has had an impressive camp and the Eagles staff has given him continued praise. Sanders will have to deal with a crowded RB position including Jordan Howard, Darren Sproles, and Corey Clement. However, he will get his touches and might take over the RB1 spot in the depth chart. Expect Sanders to have an amazing rookie year and he is a great sleeper pick to win OROY.
